Action at Donington WSBK!

Just how cool was the British round of WorldSBK last weekend? Finally, Alvaro Bautista was beaten in a race he finished in 2023 after Toprak edged the reigning World Champion out in a thrilling Superpole race at Donington Park. Two feature race wins saw the former MotoGP rider extend his already handsome lead in the championship and take his season tally of wins to 16, one win short of equalling the all-time season win record of 17 while fellow Ducati rider Danilo Petrucci took his maiden WorldSBK podium and a first in five years for his Barni Racing team.
