Are we ready for Snetterton?
This week the Bennetts British Superbike Championship convenes in Norfolk for Round 5 at Snetterton. The former Second World War American air base is sure to provide some epic racing after a thrilling weekend of action there in 2022 when Brad Ray took his maiden treble win despite fierce resistance from the McAMS Yamaha pair of Mackenzie and O’Halloran.
PBM Ducati man Tommy Bridewell leads the way by 8 points from OMG Yamaha’s Kyle Ryde with Bridewell’s teammate, Glenn Irwin, just 3 points further adrift. Only Brookes, Haslam, and Jackson have finished every race in 2023 and lie 4th, 5th, and 7th respectively. UGGLY&Co rider Max Cook made great progress at Knockhill despite his sole DNF and is ready to take the next step at ‘Snett’.
