With Brands hatch firmly in the rearview mirror we can take a quick look back at the British Superbike weekend in Kent. Cheshire Mouldings FS-3 Kawasaki man Max Cook continues to go from strength to strength in the championship. The reigning National Junior Superstock Champion secured his first top-ten finish in race three at Brands Hatch, just 13 seconds behind the race winner, Tommy Bridewell. A fantastic achievement in his maiden season in the ultra-competitive series. The Binch Racing squad was back in action in the Garden of England where a season of promise is turning into a season of woes for Sam Laffins as the Junior Superstock rider crashed out for the third race in succession. In more positive news, Scotsman Sam Munro brought the Carl Cox motorsport Supersport Yamaha R6 home in sixth place on Saturday, equalling the teams best-ever result (Max Cook, Brands Hatch 2022) followed up with a strong top 12 in the dry for Munro, who was making a return to Brands for the first time in many years.
