This weekend it’s the final Irish Road Race of the season, the Armoy Road Races. Milenco by Padgetts Honda man Davey Todd returns to defend his 2022 title, the Saltburn man was nothing short of spectacular around the iconic Co. Antrim course and is keen to resurrect his season after a difficult time so far in ’23. Carl Cox Motorsport-backed Michael Dunlop continues his boycott of the event after withdrawing from the ’22 event citing he hadn’t been ‘treated on an equal and fair basis with some of the other teams taking part in the event’.
The worlds fastest lumberjack, Dom Herbertson, returns to Armoy for 2023 after missing the 2022 event through injuries sustained during the Senior TT that year. The Geordie is ready for battle after a successful ’23 TT where he became a proud member of the ‘130 Club’, something he had been striving for over recent years. Herbertson will team up with Northern Irishman Paul Jordan to contest the Classic Superbike races for Davis Motorsport Yamaha. Jamie Coward and his KTS team will miss the event this year after a freak incident on the way to Armoy sidelined the Yorkshireman. After posting an update video on his social media channels, Coward stopped in the Lake District to ride his road cycle but during the ride a car pulled out on him, knocking him off his bike. Jamie is awaiting scan results on a damaged hip and will take no part in the event that saw him bring home two victories in 2022.

To top off the weekend it was awesome to join the Armoy Road Races for the first time with our Pop-up Shop! Amazing to see our community in Armoy, thank you all!
