One of the most famous corners on the Isle of Man TT Mountain course is ‘The Blackdub’ at the 9th milestone. Last year Peter Hickman came scorching past at 144mph past. This is a place we could not ignore. After supporting The Blackdub since 2017 and seeing it grow into what it is today it is really exciting to see there plans for 2021 with new grandstands, accommodation, bars, multiple food carts, multiple screens and seating for all. UGGLY & CO present the Islands ultimate viewing experience ‘The BLACKDUB’.

The southern 100 is a motorcycle road racing event held on the isle of man in july each year. The riders involved compete on the Billtown Circuit in the south of the island in the old capital ‘Castletown’. Multiple different races also including sidecar racing. A road race that began in 1955 and has a huge history with huge names in the road racing world battling it out there every year. Each year it attracts road racing finatics and adrenaline junkies from around the globe. We love to be associated with this legendary road race and it’s amazing to see how much the racing there has come on from its beginning in 1955.Â

When the opportunity to sponsor the British Mini Bikes came around we jumped on it for 2020. Exceptionally run this year keeping social distancing in place along with the racing. The Bennets British Superbikes is the leading road racing superbike championship in the United Kingdom and is widely acknowledged as the premier domestic superbike racing series in the world. The BSB usually stretches over 12 rounds with a reduced season this year due to Covid-19. With huge names in motorcycle racing such as: Scott Reading, ‘Shakey’ Byrne, Alex Lowes, Josh Brooks and Leon Haslam. With Adam Mclean on board the UGGLY & CO Binch Racing Yamaha in the support series to the BSB: British 600 Superstock. This is definitely a championship in which we look to grow into more! Â

The Isle of Man Tourist trophy is arguably the most famous and dangerous road race in the world. It is globally recognised as being the ‘most dangerous motorsport event in the world’ making it an adrenaline junkie hotspot. The best place to find extreme sportsmen/ women. With a large range of riders at the TT flying the UGGLY flag as well as a historical spectator hotspot (‘The Blackdub’) it’s safe to say it is currently UGGLY & COs main event.

The Manx GP is held on the famous Isle of Man Mountain course every year for a 2 week period. In 2013 the MGP added the ‘Classic TT’ to be able to race historic machines. Within the 2 week period UGGLY & CO also make an appearance at ‘The Festival of Motorcycling’ in Jurby at the top of the island. Along with Binch Racing flying the UGGLY & CO flag for the last few years.

Olivers mount first held a motorcycle race in 1946 and is England’s only natural ‘road’ race track. The 2.43 mile track has always been regarded as a highly challenging, tight and twisty circuit which tests the skills of all riders. The late great Barry Sheene named Olivers Mount as his favourite circuit. Barry sheene and other great riders such as Road racing legends Dean Harrison, John McGuniess, Guy Martin, Ian Hutchinson, Steve Hislop and Joey Dunlop have all raced at this historic and legendary circuit. This is a ‘must’ for the UGGLY Bunch and a race we are so happy to be involved with, with a huge history of great racing.Â

After 50 years of racing and giving young riders their first step into their racing careers was a great start for UGGLY & CO. Keen to find ways for the young talented athletes to get as much practice and races as possible to start their driving careers well. This meant that the formula ford was a great race for us to be involved with. With our new for 2020 Springbridge UGGLY & CO race team to set the pace for the 2021 season.Â

The international NW200 is Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event, and Ireland’s largest sporting event in the annual calendar. As well as being one of the fastest road races world wide with a top speed of 209mph!!! An amazing event with over 100k people attending to spectate in 2019. Exciting prospects ahead for 2021 NW200 and UGGLY & CO are looking forward to the races there again soon!

24 of the world’s top skiers, riders and selected local legends compete for the title of ‘King or Queen of Corbet’. The winner is based on 2 runs counting to the final prize. With top names competing and large sponsors including Red Bull, GoPro, Gore-Tex and YETI. One of our most favoured events and one we hope to be soon involved with. After watching the Jackson Hole competition for many years and seeing it grow into the competition it is today it is a ‘must’ on our list of events!
An invitation only freeride mountain bike competition, in Utah, United States. Where the best freeride mountain bikers have to make it down the intimidating mountainsides whilst also achieving the most creative lines and insane tricks. Hands down the most exceptional freeride MTB event of the year. This is one event that can not be ignored by the team here at UGGLY & CO. With new MTB athletes being discovered by UGGLY we are eager to have some of our best there in the next few years, see you there!
