Our apologies for the delay, it’s been a busy time over the past two weeks being in three places at once and with the incredibly sad loss of our dear friend Gary Vines, it’s been a difficult time for us all. Gary was a man who made time for everyone and we’re confident in saying that he was the most genuine and kind person in the paddock. As one of our original supported riders, Gary will remain an important part of our history and be forever in our hearts. We send our deepest sympathies to
Gary’s family and many friends at this most difficult of times. At the same time, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ian Bainbridge who, like Gary, tragically lost his life during Manx GP qualifying. Rest easy, gentlemen.

After the sadness of the opening two evenings, the Manx GP continued apace with record-breaking runs across the week. Carl Cox Motorsport man, Michael Dunlop took his fourth RST Classic Superbike race in majestic style aboard the Team Classic Suzuki GSX-R 750. Fending off an early challenge from Ducati-mounted Dean Harrison, the 25-time TT winner set a new lap record on the third and final lap to seal an emphatic 43-second victory over Aussie Davo Johnson after Harrison retired with a blown engine.
