It was Round 8 of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Thruxton, the home round for Uggly&Co BSB rookie, Max Cook. The reigning Junior Superstock king had the best weekend of his short superbike career in Hampshire as the Swindon rider shone around the fastest circuit in the UK. After qualifying a career-best sixth fastest Cook powered his Cheshire Mouldings Kawasaki by FS-3
Racing to a pair of stunning fourth places to the delight of his team and the bumper crowd. An innocent crash in race two after bumping and barging by others through Club Chicane left the 20- year-old bitterly disappointed but regrouped for race three to take his second fourth-place finish, just 0.5s shy of his maiden BSB podium!
