There has been a raft of new announcements in the Bennetts British
Superbike Championship and we’ll dive into them in more detail as the season draws close. One of the highlights of the announcements is the number of rookies making their full-season debut in the big class for ’23, a total of five so far with, we believe, at least one more to be announced. The favourites for the ’23 BSB crown will come in the shape of McAMS Yamaha’s Jason O’Halloran,

PBM Ducati pair Glenn Irwin and Tommy Bridewell as well as fellow Ducati rider, Christian Iddon aboard his Oxford Products Racing machine. OMG Racing Yamaha will have their work cut out to reach the highs of ’22 but Ryan Vickers will spring a surprise or two and if Kyle Ryde can keep his belief in himself then he’ll be a regular challenger for the podium places. There is a raft of other riders who will be challenging, make no mistake, they’re just a few of the riders we expect to see at the sharp end week in, week out and with no showdown phase in ’23, every point counts!

The gaggle of rookies joining the grid next season is really refreshing to see. Brad Perie with Lee Hardy Racing, Tim Neave with McAMS Yamaha, Jack Scott with Rapid CDH Racing as well as National Junior Superstock Champion Max Cook stepping up with Cheshire Mouldings Kawasaki powered by FS-3 Racing and our Uggly&Co man, Davey Todd, as the National Superstock Champion joins the fray with his Milenco by Padgetts Racing squad. A truly mouth-watering prospect for the younger riders to make their mark in arguably the best domestic motorcycle racing championship in the world.
