]]>The Southern 100 road races on the Isle of Man were ablaze with excitement as Davey Todd, representing Milenco by Padgetts Honda, dominated the track this week. Todd showcased his prowess with an impressive five wins out of seven starts, including a thrilling victory in Thursday’s feature Solo Championship race.
This was only Todd’s second appearance on the 4.25-mile Billown Course, and he wasted no time making an impact. The week kicked off with a win in Tuesday evening’s first 1000cc race, especially after DAO Racing’s Dean Harrison retired, giving Todd an early advantage.
Despite intense competition from Harrison, Todd continued to shine. Wednesday's 'big bike' races saw Harrison narrowly edge out Todd, but not without Todd setting a new lap record of 116.141mph. Thursday brought another intense battle, with Todd emerging victorious once more, this time with Harrison just 0.032s behind, and Todd setting a new lap record of 116.452mph.
The feature Solo Championship race was the ultimate showdown, spanning nine laps. Harrison, with a stunning lap of 116.941mph, claimed a new outright lap record. However, Todd’s incredible performance secured him the victory with a mere 0.061s lead as they crossed the finish line.
In the 600cc races, the competition was just as fierce. Todd, Harrison, Michael Dunlop, and Jamie Coward fought fiercely for victory in each race. Wednesday’s race saw Todd triumph, with only 1.775s separating the top four at the finish.
Thursday's races followed a similar pattern, with Dunlop taking the first win, closely followed by Harrison, Todd, and Coward, separated by a mere 0.661s. Todd once again claimed victory in the final 600cc race, with Dunlop setting the fastest lap at 110.998mph.
The Lightweight category was a battle of skill and determination, with Coward and Rob Hodson exchanging places throughout each race. Coward secured a win on Wednesday, while Hodson took the win on Thursday, with Coward setting a new lap record of 105.934mph.
In the Sidecar races, Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley emerged victorious in both races, although they faced a tough challenge from Ryan and Callum Crowe in Thursday’s Championship race. The Crowes set a new lap record of 102.398mph before retiring on lap four, demonstrating the incredible pace of both pairings.
Michael Russell dominated the 600cc 'B' races, while Paul Turner claimed victory in the Consolation race. The Southern 100 road races provided non-stop action and adrenaline, showcasing the incredible talents of these riders on the iconic Isle of Man track.
]]>Check out this incredible sight! The iconic bus shelter at the start-finish straight of the Isle of Man TT road races, captured in 2023 on Glenclutchly Road in Douglas, the capital city. This TT Grandstand, running parallel to the start/finish line. And who do we spot there? None other than the legendary James Hillier, proudly sporting his Hillier Cap 2.0!
At Uggly&Co, we've been honored to create two editions of the James Hillier Cap, completing the James Hillier Merchandise range. As we gear up for our third year supporting James Hillier in 2024, the question arises: will there be a 3rd installment of the cap? Only time will tell!
If we were to launch a new version, what would you like to see added or changed? We value your input, so let us know your thoughts! Until then, let's continue to celebrate the thrill of Isle of Man racing with style and passion.
]]>The design of this helmet showcases our iconic staple logo prominently placed on the jawline, a symbol you'll recognize on riders across the globe. These riders not only sport our logo but also support the brand that, in turn, supports the racing community—it's a full circle of support! Behind this staple logo, there's a subtle yet impactful touch: 'Uggly&Co' in Chinese characters, gently faded into the background.
The striking red and gold color scheme was meticulously chosen for the unique street circuit of Macau. And what truly sets this design apart is the majestic Chinese dragon gracefully adorning the top of the helmet. It's an eye-catching feature that simply can't be missed on the track!
The collaboration with Joey Thompson brought this remarkable colorway and design to life, and we're incredibly proud of the result. It's not every day you get to work on something so distinctive and special, and this helmet is a true testament to the creativity and passion shared between Joey and our team.
Remember, if you're looking to capture that 'factory' look for yourself, you can easily find it by searching in our website's search bar for 'Helmet Sticker Pack.' This will give you a similar aesthetic to the design featured on Joey Thompson's helmet at the Macau GP. Whether you're a rider, fan, or collector, this sticker pack is a great way to bring a touch of that iconic style to your gear.

]]>Exciting young road racer Davey Todd has just announced his move to the Dafabet squad for the Supertwins TT, marking a significant milestone in his career! From the BMW Tas Racing Milwaukee team for Superbike and Superstock events to join the highly competitive Dafabet team for the Supertwins category.
Last year, Davey Todd didn't participate in the Supertwins race, likely due to being a Honda rider with no Honda options available in the Supertwins class. His decision to join a massively competitive team like Dafabet for Supertwins is a bold and exciting move. It's fascinating to see him on a smaller bike within such a strong grid, alongside formidable competitors like Peter Hickman and Michael Dunlop, the reigning race winner from last year.
With such talent and competition on the track, it's clear that Davey Todd and the entire Dafabet squad will be ones to watch at the upcoming Supertwins TT.

]]>In 2022, Max Cook embarked on an incredible journey as the supported rider for Binch Racing by Uggly&Co, riding the Superstock 600 Yamaha R6. The season was nothing short of sensational, with Max securing the championship well before the season's conclusion. Building on this success, a collaboration with Carl Cox Motorsport paved the way for Max Cook to showcase his talents in the British Supersport, a class above.
Max's debut in the Supersport class was marked by an unforgettable season. From a gripping battle that saw him climb to 4th place before dropping back to a respectable 7th due to tire wear, Max demonstrated his prowess on the track. The achievement was particularly noteworthy considering it was his inaugural Supersport race.
One of the standout memories from this remarkable season was the unique race helmet designed exclusively for Max in collaboration with Carl Cox Motorsport. The sleek black and white design, adorned with the iconic Uggly&Co jawline sticker, became an emblem of Max's racing style. Now, enthusiasts can capture the same aesthetic with our "Helmet Sticker Pack" – check it out to emulate the striking look for yourself!
]]>At Uggly&Co, supporting racing is not just a philosophy; it's a commitment that extends to every aspect of our brand. For the past two years, our presence, alongside Carl Cox Motorsport, has been visible at Ballacraine Corner during the Isle of Man racing events. This collaboration with the legendary Carl Cox is more than a partnership; it's a seamless blend of shared values in supporting the world of racing.
Ballacraine Corner, situated just 2 miles before the exclusive Black Dub Corner, holds its own significance with a renowned 90-degree right-hander. Our joint support for this corner, in conjunction with Carl Cox Motorsport, reflects our dedication to enhancing the racing experience.
One notable instance occurred when, unfortunately, road closures prevented Carl from joining us at The Black Dub as usual. Undeterred, he made his way to Ballacraine instead. What makes this support even more special is the presence of the same logo on the banners displayed on the "BD x UG Tee" that Carl wears. This tee, one of the original three that marked the beginning of our journey, has become a symbol of this incredible collaboration.
Witnessing the legend himself, Carl Cox, in one of our initial tees is a monumental milestone and a testament to the shared vision we have in supporting the racing community. It's truly an amazing and unforgettable experience for us at Uggly&Co. Here's to more milestones and shared moments in the world of racing!
]]>In 2022, the iconic collaboration between Carl Cox Motorsport, Uggly&Co, Yamaha Racing, and Binch Racing saw the debut of the legendary R6. Max Cook took the reins for its end of the season, followed by Damo Rees in 2023. The livery of this racing marvel was nothing short of stunning, turning heads wherever it went with its standout black and white aesthetic.
The prominent logo of Carl Cox on the side, coupled with the unmistakable Uggly&Co branding, made it a visual spectacle. However, there was a unique addition to the design – a QR code. This QR code served as a bridge between motorsport enthusiasts and Carl Cox's music.
The QR code was more than just a design element; it was a portal to Carl Cox's latest track, "See the Sun Rising," featuring Franky Wah. As motorsport fans admired the beauty of the Yamaha R6, they could also scan the QR code to instantly experience the epic new song. It was a creative and interactive way to share Carl Cox's music with a broader audience, blending the worlds of motorsport and music in a truly unique manner.
